Welcome to Ren Away
My name is Lauren O’Flaherty but my friends know me as Ren (like the bird). I was born in south-eastern Australia, and have Irish, English and Aboriginal heritage.
My family knew I was destined to be an adventurer, someone always exploring new cultures and places. My degree in Human Geography, combined with my career centred around connecting with people of many cultures, and my extensive travel experiences, has paved the way for this life of adventure.
I’ve always had a knack for finding really special and meaningful experiences while travelling and being able to connect with the community. Family, friends and other travelers I’ve met along the way have told me I should be sharing my experiences, travel hacks, and tips for authentic travel experiences to a broader audience.
