Welcome to Ren Away
Hi, I’m Lauren (but you can call me Ren).
In a world where too many people have started to turn to AI to advise them on “the top 3 places to travel“, I am here to cut through all the noise and provide real stories and advice.
As a human geographer and culture enthusiast I’ve always had a knack for being able to connect with the communities that I travel to, and this has allowed me to have many special experiences that I’ll share here.
On RenAway you’ll find some of my ‘off the beaten track adventures’ (and the how-tos), stories from the communities, local recommendations, and homestay and volunteering opportunities.
There’ll also be a lot about how to do bird watching on a backpacker budget.
So welcome to my travel blog and remember to support your fellow humans through connecting with the communities and ethical travel (and by reading my blog).
xx
