Best Pregnancy Apps
Congratulations!!! You are pregnant. The most amazing feeling in your life probably (definitely it was for me). So you want to enjoy it to its fullest and know everything what is going on with the baby and your body. As it is exciting at the same time quite stressful and worrying sometimes because it is the first time when you growing human inside and feel responsible for everything what is going on and what you can do. In this technology times, it is so much easier than it was for our parents as there is so much information about everything. You just need to go to Google and that is it. However, I didn’t want that confusion of many different opinions in those forums about pregnancy so I decided to use couple apps that would notify me about all changes as well as give advice and support I need. These apps I am going to share now were with me throughout all my pregnancy and helped me a lot. This is why I decided to share my experience with you.
Glow Nurture App
This app was the main one I used all my pregnancy and I loved it. It is more American version but common pregnancies are the same everywhere right? I started to use this app because before I got pregnant I was using Glow app while I was trying to get pregnant so I just stick to it as I liked how it was working. So first of all it is great as you can see exactly how baby is growing and changing in their animation and it is so cool as you just want to check it every day and you can imagine how your little one looks like. Nevertheless, it shows what is the size, weight, length (see the pic below) as well as everyday they give you some articles that explains in details and gives you some information about your body, baby and advises about food, exercise sleep and so. Moreover, you have to log info about yourself every day like how you feel, what pain you had and so on., and according your information they give you insights and advice what you can improve. They also has forum where you can ask questions and share your experiences with other mommies to be. This is great idea and good for those sleepless nights. I spent hours there browsing and reading others’ stories. Another good thing is you can involve your partner in all this stuff and they can see how you have been today without even telling them. Overall, I am very satisfied with this app and I would highly recommend it. Just try and you will see.
Bounty pregnancy app
This one is very good as well but it is more for UK girls I guess. Firstly, it gives you few gift packs and you can see where and when to collect it. It is not only baby related gifts but also it gives some treats for mommies to be as well. In addition, you can find hospitals where you want to give a birth and all information about that place which is very useful. It also shows your baby’s growth by showing growing feet, which is soo cute. Same as glow it gives you articles about pregnancy and babies. And the thing I liked most is that you don’t have to delete the app after giving birth just continue with the same app. So for UK mommies it is must have app.
Baby Kicks app
Although I didn’t need to use this one at all, because my baby was always active and I did not have to worry about it but I would recommend this one if you worried about your little one kicks and its movements. It safes all your history you made so you can use it when you meet your midwife or GP if you have any concerns.
Contraction Timer 9m – Smart Labor (iOS) app
Probably all contractions apps does the same job but I liked this one because it is easy to use not too many details and also it informs you when you need to start preparing to go and when you actually need to go or when it is falls alarm and something is not right. I used it and it helped me to decide to go to hospital when midwifes told me to wait app said to go and I am glad I did. So thumbs up for this one.
So that are all apps I used and was really glad I did as it answered all my questions as well as it was nice to read all other stories on glow and communicate with other moms to be as well as share experiences and ask questions. I don’t think you need something more as these were all I needed during my pregnancy. If you have any other recommendations for great apps or have any questions just leave the comment below for other ladies to see and try it.
Have very pleasant and enjoyable pregnancies all. Enjoy every little moment with your bump because the time just flies.
