Hunting for Pumpkins
Because Halloween is close and it is my favorite season of the year because of pumpkins (and my birthday of course :D), me and hubby decided to find a farm of pumpkins and have a nice day out. However, we didn’t want to travel long distance so we found couple places 20 miles away from our home and guess what? We went to the first one and they had few pumpkins left only in their farm shop. I was so upset because on farm’s website it said they have thousands of pumpkins and all sorts. So we decided to go further to the next one. We reached our destination and they had a bit more cute pumpkins but in the greenhouse not the field and we decided to stay here anyway. OMG, to choose the perfect pumpkins wasn’t that easy we took probably nearly an hour to choose three pumpkins. No judgments here 😀 but at the same time we had fun as well, had some pictures taken, searching for perfect pumpkins, chatting, it was so lovely. One quick tip: if you really want to see more pumpkins and probably find them in a field you should go to farms late September early October, because if you go later as we did you will not find much pumpkins left.
Back to the farm, it was such a cozy farm, with tables to sit down and relax, huge fields, big range of fruits and vegetables as well as sweets and buns. I couldn’t’ resist and bought some cinnamon rolls that we had back home with hot chocolate. Would really recommend to spend day off or family time like that.
Enjoy your days 😉
